Edward Croel McDaniel
Edward Croel McDaniel, passed away at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Evanston, WY on September 6, 2021 at the age of 64. Edward was born on December 8, 1956 in Jasper, Texas, the son of Lester Allen and Frances Louise (Wigley) McDaniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leser Allen and Frances Louise McDaniel, as well as his wife, Nina (Roeder) McDaniel. He is survived by his brother, William L. McDaniel, a sister in law, Susan C. McDaniel, and a nephew Paul Allen McDaniel, and nieced Bonnie Lea (Tautkus) and Elana Michelle McDaniel.
Ed was raised in the Piney Woods of Texas, but later in life moved out West to Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming.. He loved fishing in the mountains and long drives through the mountains. He especially loved trains and enjoyed sitting in his car watching the action in the rail yard in Kemmerer, WY. He was wan avid reader and a fan of The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings, and enjoyed Star Wars, Dr. Who, and other fantasy/adventure movies. His day was always better by a trip to the Kemmerer Senior Citizens Center for a good meal and visiting with his friends. They meant a lot to him. Whenever you asked Ed, “How are you”, he would say, “Doin Good”
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the South Lincoln Cemetery, Kemmerer, WY.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel in Kemmerer, WY.

I once took Ed to a meeting at the Social Security office about an hour away. He entertained me the whole morning with history and trivial facts about trains. I learned a lot that day!
