Emalinn Hartley

Emalinn Hartley, age 19 of Vulcan, passed away April 11, 2025 in Fayette, Missouri. She was born on January 25, 2006 in Kemmerer, WY, the daughter of James and Janet (Stanley) Hartley.

A 2024 graduate of the South Iron R-1 School District, she was currently pursuing her dreams at Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO, where she was studying Marine Biology. Emalinn had a deep and enduring passion for the ocean and all its wonders—a passion that shaped her academic goals and inspired those around her.

Emalinn is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rick Hartley, Susan Pedrini, and her maternal grandmother Ronnda Stanley.

In addition to her parents James and Janet Hartley of Vulcan, she is survived by a brother, Kenneth Taylor of Poplar Bluff, a sister, Abigail Hartley of Vulcan, her grandfather, Willis Stanley of Kemmerer, WY, along with many other family and friends.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
