Paul was born in Diamondville, Wyoming on September 24, 1916 to Rocco and Carmela (Rago) Canosa. He passed away at South Lincoln Nursing Center in Kemmerer, WY. On June 21, 2014 at the age of 97. Except for time spent in the military, he was a lifelong resident of Diamondville. He was connected with the family business all of his life. He attended school in Diamondville and then later graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1933. At the time Paul wrote this he figured he was probably the last survivor of the class of 1933. He served his country in World War II and in his words “the Korean thing.” His favorite hobby was doing nothing which he thoroughly enjoyed, but the rest of us know he never did “nothing.” He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers-Joseph and Mike Canosa and 3 sisters-Teresa and Carmela Canosa and Kate Canosa Srdoc and brother-in-law Bill Srdoc. During our lives we receive many kindnesses that can’t be repaid with money. Funeral services will be short and at the graveside on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Diamondville Cemetery; “And he did not believe that you are in rest until completely forgotten.”
