Glenda cast off the shackles of this life on July 21, 2024 so she could reside eternally in the divine abode. She was born on January 13, 1939 to Arthur and Marie (Fenn) Robinson. A short time later she would welcome a brother Gary and they would grow up on the various ranches of the Hams Fork Valley.
Glenda would regale all who would listen with tales of one room classrooms, riding the school bus in winter ( which was in actually her dad’s horse drawn sleigh), magnificent horse wrecks, old time cattle drives, and gatherings with the other ranches throughout the valley.
After graduating high school, she took a job with the department of the interior which took her to places throughout the American West. She worked duty stations from Anchorage, Alaska to San Antonio, Texas, and all points in between. While she loved the travel and enjoyed seeing the sites (although she never found the Alamo no matter how hard she looked), she always came back to her first love, Southwestern Wyoming.
After amassing and impeccable record with numerous citations and accolades, she retired so she could spend time doing the things she loved most, which were spending time with friends and family, spending time with her animals, and spending time chasing the perfect buzz.
She is survived by a niece Kimberly Robinson, a nephew, Jesse Robinson, cousin Cathy Escoffier of Fallon, NV, and a cousin Bob Adams of Elko, NV. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and a brother. She was an intelligent, caring, amazing woman from a bygone era and will be sorely missed by those who got to know her.
Glenda’s wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
Ball Family Chapel of Kemmerer has been entrusted to arrangements.
