Ken enlisted in the United States Army as a young man. He later worked and helped his mother and father. He was a devoted son.
In his early years Ken was good friends with John Peternal, and he eventually had a home “up the creek” on the Peternal property. He loved looking off his back deck enjoying the river, hayfields, and wildlife.
Ken had a lengthy career working at the Kemmerer Coal Mine. He started working for the Kemmerer Coal Company and retired with Chevron Mining.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman. Over the years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his good friends Murph & Lori Roberts.
He liked to help work on the surrounding ranches. He would help Bob & Jayson Fox at brandings, and he enjoyed helping them and being part of the gang.
Ken’s circle of friends was small, but he was a fiercely loyal friend and confidante. He will be missed.
As per his wishes, cremation will take place and his cremains will be scattered in a place that he enjoyed spending time in.
