Marcus Laverial Skinner, age 72, passed away at his home in LaBarge, WY. on September 25, 2013. He was born on December 9, 1940 in Fletcher, Oklahoma, the son of Allen Alvie and Maudie Agnes (Baker) Skinner. He married Bonnie Jean Hemphill, on January 18, 1963 in
Sublette County, WY.
Marcus enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, go boating, camping, and spending time with his family. Marcus enjoyed being able to engrave on antlers, and enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Skinner, of LaBarge, WY.; children, Jeannie Howard, of Marbleton, WY.; Joanna (Larry) Rieger, of Seio, OR.; his brother, Gene Skinner, of CA.; and a sister, Sally Bartlett, of OK. His is also survived by his grandchildren, Melinda Hacklin, Melissa Schaffer, Mekayla Howard, Joshua Rieger, and Dillon Rieger. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Tyler, Ryen, Jared, Rylee, and Jaxon.
Marcus is preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and two sisters.
Memorial donations may be made to that of the donor's choice.
Memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 5:00 P.M. at The First Baptist Church, LaBarge, WY. conducted by Pastor Tony Portera and Pastor Ed Bryan. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel, Kemmerer, WY.
