Margaret (Margo) Jean Angel-Stukel (73), beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024, at her daughters’ home in Gillette, Wyoming.A memorial service to honor Margaret's life will be held at the Ball Family Chapel Funeral Home in Kemmerer, Wyoming.

A tribute will be held at the grave side to honor her 30 plus years of public service with the South Lincoln EMS department.
Reception will be held at the Eagles Lodge at 4:00 PM
Margaret led an adventurous life filled with dedication to her family, community, and a passion for her work. Margaret was a woman who lived a very simple life and loved to give to others. She loved her community and was always present wherever she was needed with a smile on her face.
She was born on March 10, 1952, to humble parents “James” Santiago and Sarah Luna Angel in Sidney, Montana. She was the 8th of 10 children, growing up in Sidney, Montana. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1970 where she loved to participate in many clubs, sports, band and activities. Her favorite activities were being part of the DECCA Club and Drill Team. Margaret’s first job was waiting tables in high school, where the people loved her outgoing & carasmatic personality. Margaret loved to be involved in the public and mingle with her peers.
After graduating from High School her adventures lead her to Las Vegas, NV, Kingman, AZ, Gardner MT, Jeffrey City, WY, and finally Kemmerer, WY where she would called home. Residing here with her husband Joseph Stukel, when in 1990 they divorced. While residing in Jeffrey City she worked for the school district serving as a bilingual interpreter/teacher.
In the early 80’s during a family stay in Montana, with baby sister Connie’s help she earned her CNA certification that lead to her future career with EMS.
Margaret worked at many establishments in Kemmerer. Working her way from the laundry room at Lincoln County Memorial Hospital to South Lincoln EMS where she would devote 30 plus years of service. She worked joyfully as a custodian in the Lincoln County Court House for 20 years. Margaret also volunteered for 20 plus years in the Eagles Auxiliary. She was honored by receiving the Alta Susan Browning Award. This is the highest honor received in the Auxiliary.
She loved to take road trips and sing to her favorite songs (she loved George Strait), country dancing, bowling in the local leagues, bartending, waitressing, cooking for large crowds and being around the people she served and loved.
Margaret is survived by her three children Grace Yeager (Russell), Kathleen Schaechterle (Cory) and Robert Stukel; her grandchildren Justine Hendricks (Brian), David Smith III, Alyssa Heydt (Zach), Ashley Stukel, Jacquelynn Gage (Clint), Cody Schaechterle (Katy), Keyan Yeager, Brastin Yeager, Kezley Yeager, Braisley Schaechterle; Great-grandchildren; Izabella Heydt, Cherish Smith, Hadassah Hendricks, David Smith IV, Isaac Heydt, Caylem Gage, Gabriella Heydt, Maliky Hendricks, Veralynn Gage, Taviyas Smith, Chesney Schaechterle, Titus Heydt, Elijah Hendricks, Ataley Gage & Knox Smith
Also survived by her siblings; Josie (Clair) Jensen (Branson, MO), David Angel (Huston, TX) & Connie Angel (Sidney, MT)
She was proceeded in death by her parents, four brothers and 2 sisters.
Margaret had a heart to serve her family, community and all who crossed her path. She loved connecting with people of all walks of life.
