Natalie Walker Schoonhoven
Natalie Walker Schoonhoven was born in Evanston, WY on July 19, 1961. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Natalie passed away peacefully at South Lincoln Medical Center on July 9, 2021, at the age of 59.
She grew up in Kemmerer, Wyoming with her 2 sisters and brother. As a child Natalie enjoyed reading, dancing, riding horses with her dad, and spending time with her family.
She cherished every lasting minute with her grandchildren. She would often be found cuddling or playing dolls with her granddaughter, playing trucks, hide and seek and building forts with her grandsons. She was the go-to listener and problem solver for many. She cherished her everyday coffee sessions with her siblings and was the best storyteller.
Natalie worked 15 unforgettable years at Cowboy State Trucking where she built lifelong and cherished relationships with her work family.
She is survived by her two sons Jeremie (Tawni) Lewis of Berthoud, CO, and Tristen (Dayna) Lewis of Fort Collins CO, sisters Michelle (Rick) Pollard, Serena Nielson, and her brother Steve (Phyllis) Walker and her 6 grandchildren Tailix, Cashten, Corey, Dempsee, Clayton and Keegan whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alan & Joanette Walker, her grandparents Sylvan “Sib” & Afton Walker and Vernon & Iva Walker, her brother-in-law Randy “Big Red” Nielson, brother-in-law Troy Minden and nephew John Borino.
